because when a shower stresses you out...it's time to change

I feel like reading philosophy and sitting in a forest. or park.

I am tired of staring at a computer screen. to come home. and stare at a tv. or computer.

I'm tired of spending money to socialize. No more drink dates. or dinner dates. or lunch dates. no more inviting me over to a party to ask that I bring something.

beauty is travel and travel is beauty.

Generation Video Game

Video Games

Intolerable is: to be in the company of someone who continues to play video games on their phone

Brought to you by the same people that gave us the Nintendo - to distract you from actually paying attention to your friends and family and the Game Boy - to be played in the times when you were away from a computer/television and needed to distract yourself from life.

When you are the future a lot rides on your shoulders. Do not let us down.

You fail to realize or fail to recognize or fail to wave around your knowledge of the disgusting crimes against humanity around the world - this angers me because it scares me.

When I see people daily who have gone through such atrocities that they are now on the other side of the world seeking refuge and you have no idea what is happening or even where the country is - it scares me for the future of our country.

I remember trying to explain to someone about Cambodia's recent history (Khmer Rouge) and Burma's present - someone who could really only conceive the European Holocaust and had a tiny idea about gang violence in America. What's worse- she didn't have any desire to learn.

How can I make you...?

Ethnic...but in a good way

Last weekend I dug out a long green dress to wear that I had purchased in Thailand.

So as I was walking past a new roommate she looked at me and 'ooooo-ed" "That's a pretty dress...It's ethnic...but in a good way."

What the hell does ethnic mean to her? Had she not said "but in a good way" did she think I would perceive that as an insult?

what an idiot. what a racist.

The burden of an extrovert

The burden of an Extrovert is that one is reliant on others for one's own happiness.

The burden of a Type A is that one desires control and reluctantly gives it with great trust.

The burden of a Type A Extrovert is that when others fail to deliver, it is utterly heartbreaking.

Movie Extras - little treats

Isn't it more interesting to look at what's happening in the background of the scene?

Saturday Morning Slide Show

As I was sitting in a beyond useless meeting today, Saturday, I was forced to watch a power point presentation on the most interesting thing to be thinking about on a Saturday - healthcare.

This being an important topic, and early Saturday morning I am in focus fast mode. This mode being let's get this shit talked about quickly and seriously to get out of here so that I can do Saturday things.

However, the presenter was not in this mood. She was in a mood to put useless dumb poop slides in such as the following:

This presentation helped me by helping me realize how I hate extra time wasting slides in presentations, and health care topics.

Funny note - she had a slide of all of the logos supporting a bill. Someone asked for a copy of the slide. The response was "I haven't gotten permission from the companies yet to use their logos." Hell, good idea. Donald Trump said blah blah blah... but don't tell him I told you

Send It in a Private Message

Comments on people's walls, especially dead people and magnets for criticism. The posts are disturbing and always sound so fake - some people suck at expressing emotions in writing. I can do nothing but come to the conclusion that it is all for show.

When someone dies...
Why the hell would you post on their Facebook wall that you will miss them?

If you do intend to contact them, because you truly believe they will see the post or perhaps you need the outlet - Why the hell do you need the rest of the world to know and see it?!
1. People (Frances) are going to think you are stupid (and are a person of ulterior motives) for the post
2. If you are friends with this person, people know you are mourning. You do not have to express it publicly. It makes people (Frances) uncomfortable.
3. Send a private message to the dead. If you think they will get a wall post, you surely can come to the conclusion that they would get a private message.

head phones

When I walk I don't wear head phones.

When I wait I stare at people and things
why should I pretend to do something else?

does this show security?
I'm still swimming
