Saturday Morning Slide Show

As I was sitting in a beyond useless meeting today, Saturday, I was forced to watch a power point presentation on the most interesting thing to be thinking about on a Saturday - healthcare.

This being an important topic, and early Saturday morning I am in focus fast mode. This mode being let's get this shit talked about quickly and seriously to get out of here so that I can do Saturday things.

However, the presenter was not in this mood. She was in a mood to put useless dumb poop slides in such as the following:

This presentation helped me by helping me realize how I hate extra time wasting slides in presentations, and health care topics.

Funny note - she had a slide of all of the logos supporting a bill. Someone asked for a copy of the slide. The response was "I haven't gotten permission from the companies yet to use their logos." Hell, good idea. Donald Trump said blah blah blah... but don't tell him I told you

Send It in a Private Message

Comments on people's walls, especially dead people and magnets for criticism. The posts are disturbing and always sound so fake - some people suck at expressing emotions in writing. I can do nothing but come to the conclusion that it is all for show.

When someone dies...
Why the hell would you post on their Facebook wall that you will miss them?

If you do intend to contact them, because you truly believe they will see the post or perhaps you need the outlet - Why the hell do you need the rest of the world to know and see it?!
1. People (Frances) are going to think you are stupid (and are a person of ulterior motives) for the post
2. If you are friends with this person, people know you are mourning. You do not have to express it publicly. It makes people (Frances) uncomfortable.
3. Send a private message to the dead. If you think they will get a wall post, you surely can come to the conclusion that they would get a private message.

Things about this that are weird about this:
1. Tiffaney? I believe your parents spelled your name wrong.
2. Kyle doesn't have a friend named Pat.
3. Kyle hates downtown and refuses to go.
4. The fact that I am the one being contacted when it's Kyle that you know.
5. You know that Kyle and I talk a lot?
6. Kyle does not know who you are.


Kyle's response:
"The name is familiar. I know she's from Waynesville. Did she contact you in some way?"
After reading the message:
"Who the hell is Pat? I don't know any people named Pat. Also I can't recall ever talking to this girl in high school, would not recognize her if I saw her, and never saw her in Nashville."
"That's so weird. I really have no idea. Brett's last name is Patrick. But no. None of that ever happened."
The most important question-
Is someone impersonating me?"

Is it bullying for me to post this? Hard to tell. People are so sensitive these days. I ********* the last name just in case.

A day like every day

On my way home from work, what a bull shit day by the way.

I just wanted some consolation. Not some explanation of the other side. Just someone to tell me I was right and everyone else was wrong. Because that's what you want to hear when you're upset.

The person I really wanted to call for some consolation. The 5 Spot. But it's not a person...if it was it would understand.

What happened at work?
I got reprimanded. Use some tact he said. I could go further, but what's the boring fucking point?
